The 3 stages of the packing process

Preliminary Stage

Sort as much as you can into different piles of donate, store, move to new house, trash, etc. and use Color Legend and stickers provided by Packing Pros.

Make sure things you don’t want packed are labeled so that packers know not to pack them (such as items you will need over the next few days before the move.

Choose designated bathroom for the team of packers to use.

If certain treasures need special attention or handling make sure to inform packing supervisor.

Decide which rooms at the new home will receive boxes from old home in order to avoid having to carry boxes to rooms other than where they were intended to go.

If there are any packing materials that customer already has at home to use then please inform packing team of those materials.

Have all trip hazards out of the way for the packers to arrive.

Packing Stage

Packers will arrive between 9:00am-9:30am and will unload supplies and boxes out of vehicles.

Then, once full packing team has arrived customer will be greeted and asked to give team a walk-through of the entire home so that team can come up with an action plan for the day.

Team will thoroughly pack and label all items to make sure the move goes as smoothly as possible and team will communicate important information and updates to movers, and any other factions of the care team.

Packing team will take a 30 minute lunch break at some point and will end the work day at 3:00pm after carefully placing packed items and supplies out of client’s path.

Packing supervisor will provide client with a work log of how time was spent each day.

Post-Packing Stage (Aftercare)

If client wishes to hire the packers to unpack as well then packers will unpack all everyday necessities before the first day of unpack is over so that client can feel at home in the new home. Packers will do things like make the bed, unpack and organize toiletries, unpack everyday silverware
